I owned the flip 4, 5 and 6. I take incredible care of my electronics, have never ever had a broken screen on a phone in 20 years of owning smart phones (or however long since the Droid eris)

That being said, I went through 5 or 6 of these flip phones with the hinges breaking and getting them repaired only to have them break again.

I sold the last one and went with the 25+. Never going back.

I agree. I believe that design it that way so you will have to buy a new one every year. Lost 2 already with the screen flickering

Thanks for the advice guys I almost pulled the trigger but I was wondering about durability. Sounds like these aren't very durable at all.
