I own the Arc Ultra and the Arc is still very good. The Arc is larger than the Beam 2 and so it has a more full sound all around. And at only $399, it's an excellent deal!

I think when you consider the cost of this vs. the cost of the Arc Ultra, this is the smarter purchase.. unless you're putting it in a room that's so big that the Ultra would benefit it more (but that's not most people).

Think about it this way... you're basically paying 2.75x cost for a product that is, maybe 10-20% better?

That's right. It's like paying 10x the cost of a Corolla for a Ferrari that may be 5% better.

This deal woke me out my sleep I was abt to pull the trigger earlier on the Beam bundle w 2 era 100s for $687
