I have one plugged in at all times on my desk and the unit itself does not get hot at all but I've only ever had two items charging at the same time

I charge multiple laptops/phones from mine and its barely warm to the touch. Most of the day I have at least 2 laptops (Macbook pro 16 m2 Max & Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360), and my phone (Galaxy Fold 3) plugged into it. I've owned it for 6 months and it's been outstanding. In fact I just picked one up earlier this week for my wife's desk.
It also supports Samsung Super Fast Charge 2.0 at the full 45W which a lot of chargers don't support.

Correction, I've owned it for 10 months of heavy use round the clock.

That's great. We have a lovesac couch that has a little internal cubby that is great to drop a charger in to. I was thinking this would be a nice hidden little hub for devices

Yes, I think it would work great.

protip: If you have devices that require 100W ensure you are using 100w+ certified cables. I actually really like my Sabrent cables with the smart display... tells me how much power each device is pulling.

How flexible is the power cable?

I would like to keep it on the back edge of my desk.
I've tried other brands which would tilt up due to the cable pulling it.

Would this stay flat?

You could use a bit of double sided tape

I have this and another unit with the same specs from another brand. The Anker unit is similar in size but weighs more than double. This thing is heavy. The cord does not tilt it up.

Can someone please help with the charging math? I have a Microsoft Surface 7, a couple of iPhone 17's pro max, 11 inch iPad and a few battery packs. How do I figure out if all will be charge at the highest possible wattage output?

Also, with all these items plugged in, with this brand, should there be a concern with excessive heat or worse, a possible fire hazard?
