Is the Apple TV cancelable prior to the 6 month mark?

I *think* you're asking if you have to pay for a whole six months if you take this offer, or if you can just do it for a few months instead. And yes, you can quit at any time and won't be charged for the next month, and will have access through the end of the month you paid for.

But I wanted to clarify, because someone else told you no, and they were likely answering based on the oft asked question of if people can cancel immediately and still get the discount for however many months were on offer, and of course you can't do that. This renews monthly, and if you want the whole six months but want to cancel a little early just to not wait for the last minute, you'd need to wait until after the sixth payment was charged and then quit.

Exactly what I was asking. Thank you.

Was waiting for a deal for Peacock Premium as mine expires in 4 days. Decided to renew with the Apple+ Bundle for $14.99. $10.99 for Peacock and $4:00 for Apple TV. New and existing customers.
Peacock is pretty good at giving a cheap offer for the year when tou go to cancel the active subscription. For example mine is up next week, they ask for 132 for the year if paid monthly but once I go to cancel it wants to give me a year for $40

I bookmarked the page to check my channel subscriptions [amazon.com], just 'cause I like to do a paranoia check and make sure I really cancelled before it's set to renew at full price. It will show when a channel renews and the price, or show that you've cancelled and the date your access ends. You may want to save the link, too. I also set email reminders to cancel. I seriously don't want to find out I was paying months of full-price subscriptions on channels I didn't even know I still had, lol. I never have yet.

And fyi, it seems like if you cancel immediately after you sign up on Amazon when you only want one month, they may actually cancel right then and give you a refund (but I'm not 100% certain as it's been awhile that I just wanted something for one month and did that). If that happened the offer would still be on and you could sign up again, and wait a week or two to cancel. With this deal, you probably want more than one month unless you're sure you can watch all you wanted in that time. May as well wait until closer to the end of the month to cancel even then, as once you've cancelled, if you want it longer, you'll no longer be able to renew at the sale price past Dec. 1.

Is there any benefit for doing this through Amazon as a channel or directly from Amazon?
I assume the channel is slightly easier to use from a FireTV, but Inhave several TVs that I don't use A Firestick on.
Can you still log directly into the Apple TV app?

I just got an email from Roku showing that HBOMax would be $2.99 a month for 2 months but the link doesn't work yet. Same for Paramount+.

I'm going to wait until Black Friday in hopes HBO offers a deal directly on their App, like they did last year. The app is easier to navigate IMO and you have access to everything. Whereas on Roku and Prime channels, it seems to be a neutered versions.
Ppl are saying you can get this deal thru hbo app on iPhones … alternate billing … 2.99 per month for 12 months

If you're looking at any of the PBS services, please don't give your money to Amazon. You can get access to PBS Passport, which has all the above content, by donating directly to your local station. That way you'll be funding your local station and PBS directly, not funding Bezos 17th Yacht...

The donation level to access Passport varies by station, but it's typically a $60-$100 donation.

If you just want PBS KIDS access, you can get that for free.

This gives me an idea!
Some company should consolidate all of these subscriptions into one subscription with each option at different numbered locations on the UI. You could choose different tiers, such as 10, 25, 50+. Maybe have only the higher tier subscriptions be add-on? Maybe add an option to only have one program at a time at each location to keep the price even lower?

Can the $5.99/mo for 6 months AppleTV+ deal be stacked on top of an existing annual subscription (extending it for 6 months)?

THIS!

At $60/year, the PBS Passport is an excellent value for essentially commercial free content of all sorts. The only thing going through Amazon gets you is the running joke of more cosmetic surgery for Bezos' Build Your Own Barbie Bride.

Additionally, others have said how difficult it is to cancel or modify ANY streaming package when going through Amazon. Save yourself the headache - give $60 to your local PBS station for a year of great content.

That would have been a nice deal! Heck, just a repeat of previous black friday deals would have been nice. This is ok as its better than regular pricing but nothing impressive!
