these are really excellent knives. best you will get that are forged and made in Germany anywhere near this price. I'd take these 2 excellend knives for 122 over some soso set of 15 knives for the same price.

Feels like a personal attack, I just bought the sh*tty ones for $99 Smilie. Totally agree though. Quality over quantity all day every day. As I posted in that thread, the sh*tty ones are for the counter for guests to use.

Well that forged heckles set is just a ridiculous bargain so I'm not hating on those either. Also like you I have an inexpensive (but pretty nice) block of cangshan forged knives that anyone can use then all my nice Japanese and German knives seperate.
