Showing $140 for me but would pass even at $60. When I need to replace my I.P. Evo it will only be with another Evo which at this time is the I.P. Pro. There is far too much speed versatility and functionality lost with these economy models. Not worth the $30 saved. Pro 6 qt with packaging damage is often $90 or less sold by Amazon Resale.

I bought this InstantPot at Target nine days when it was $70 and included a $10 gift card. We have been very happy with it so far. Quite a versatile kitchen tool.

Is the power cable removable or completely attached the device? Have seen people comment on the power cable on this particular model from target

I had an economy model and agree. Awful machine. Threw it out and never again

Love Instapots. This one has a rice cooker and yogurt mode which is just what I was wanting so for $60 plus 5% off if you have a Target card it's a no brainer for me.

I own several and always buy them on sale like this. None of them have rice mode. And my oldest one doesn't have yogurt mode which is something I use regualrly.

You can also buy the optional glass lid and use it as a slow cooker or just to store what you have inside the fridge.

I've had the basic one for years and only use it for pressure cooking, as a slow cooker, and something to keep food warm at parties and events. For pressure cooking, it will produce the very best stocks you can make since pressure cooking raises the boiling point temperature of liquids without actually boiling (this prevents a cloudy stock). Pressure cooking (instead of boiling) will also make the best potatoes for mashed potatoes (I set mine for 7 minutes with a quick release). No need for constantly checking or worry about over cooking.

The power cable is removable. It is only ~3 feet long, but is a standard appliance cord, so you can substitute a longer one of thick gauge.

There are so many models. It's tough to choose the right one. I know I do want rice cooking functionality. How good of a deal is this?

Amazon has duo plus for the same price. Is this better or that?
