I add the R8W to my cart but don't get the discount. I can add the R8 to my cart and see the 30% off automatically. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

i scooped one up. 537 no tax is a no brainer. a few guys are trying to sell these locally and they all wanted $700. So 537 is a great deal.

Picked one up to upgrade my Uniden R3! Have always wanted the directional arrows but cost has been a bit too much at normal MSRP.

Does this one work in states that dont allow Radar detectors? Its been years since I owned one, but it had "Detector" detection sensors, that were able to tell if the patrol car that was hitting you with their signal/laser had the device in their car that tells them you have a Detector. When I was in the Navy, I did a lot of traveling through Virginia, so I kept that one mounted.

I bought older one R7 and got more speeding tickets than what this was worth.

now i just u se a autopilot type drive car and play on my phone..

These are more useful for speed cameras and light cameras. Cops on highways/interstate flip on and off the radar/laser when they see a car moving quick. By the time you hear the beep they got you. Cops don't want to hear a high pitch squeal for 10 hours straight. 1st hand experience. Jammers are neat, but you are looking for serious trouble with those.
