FYI – The rules on the $15 credit are pretty strict. Last year, I applied it to an order that I ended up cancelling and never got the credit back. I appealed to support and they said it was one time use and doesn't get refunded. Trying to save others from potential headache. Makes sure you only order what you are for sure going to keep!

For anyone decide to buy apple gift card and then use to buy "iphone/ipad/macbook...". You are allowed up to $2,000 in apple balance and up to 8 gift card seperately on the transaction ( this is "online" limit , in store I believe 20). Basically 2,800 capped on "apple gift card" per transaction

I buy apple gift card every year, from Bestbuy, amazon and target. Amazon is the worst. I had to call the customer support to get amazon gift card or credit.
It's not guaranteed that you get $15 credit. Even if you get it, you might not be able to use it. I had amazon credit from other deals like the one from the photo, but I could't apply them when check out even if it's shown under my account. Amazon just won't honor it. This company is dishonest and I would avoid Amazon.

Yes -- you can use it on hardware or subscriptions or digital goods directly from Apple (their website/app/stores):

So I was already planning on buying an iPhone and iPad from the Apple Store for their Black Friday. I can just buy a bunch of these to pay for them right, and come out with a bunch of Amazon (and Apple) credit?

In the past its been limit 1 digital Apple GC and limit 1 physical Apple GC per Amazon account so if its the same this year then you'll only be able to get 2 and you'll need to wait for shipping for physical card

You can try getting more from Target/Best Buy for $15 Target/BB GCs
