Connecting one set of BT headphones to the TV is easy and works well. Wondering if this would work for both (as long as it doesn't add audio delay).

For that purpose you would probably need something with advanced tech like AptX Low Latency or similar to reduce delay so your viewing content doesn't fall out of sync.
Honestly any transmitter or receiver without that anti-lag tech is super limited in useā¦but this one seems to have advertised AAC and SBC so maybe it will be ok.

Tried a transmitter with AptX Adaptive and an earbud with AptX Adaptive, wow, no perceptible delays anymore and haven't need to adjust delays. Transmitter used 1mii B03+ (there's newer models available, this was what I had and didn't even know it had aptx at all). Earbuds - Earfun Free Pro 3.

Maybe the gist was you have to change the name of the device or something. That is, Apple tries to make it seem like there are "compatibility issues" but really it just means you lose access to some special Apple features.
