Rod is 7ft medium heavy 1piece, reel is size 4000. Apparently this is the inshore version of Crossfire lineup. Should be saltwater ready and more durable than regular Crossfire which has already been a very reliable performer amongst many anglers. Can't seem to find many reviews but considering $80-$90 price tag everywhere else, this seems like a good deal.

No use for a 4000 in Michigan. Used to have a smaller version of the crossfire combo. The reel was solid for the price, the rod broke real easy. But this is a terrific price for the reel alone, just don't expect much from the rod.

Yeah, I have the regular crossfire 2500 combo and the rod is very flimsy even though they rate it as medium but this inshore one should be better in terms of construction, also rated medium heavy. Will know tomorrow.
