These are always dead when I go back to use them. Probably fine if you just charge and use them on the same day, but you can't charge them all at once and go through them like regular batteries.

Yea, I found that too. Can't charge and store them for later....

That's why you need a fast charger. Pop four in the charger and in 15 minutes you're ready to go. The better deal is the NICEBATT [amazon.com] 16 batteries and the closest to eneloop I've found. 16 AAA for $10, and these are slow discharge. They raised the price on the OP batteries.

These are bad batteries can't hold the charge. It discharge really fast. Never going to buy these again

I put them in lights and child toys they are doing quite well. None of them died yet. However, oldest is only 3 months old. If I use them 2-3 times they are cheaper than regular Alkaline. On average, they should last longer than that.

I'll say like I say on every one of these posts: These are good as long as you know what you're getting them for. I use them mostly for remotes. TV remotes, roku / Firestick remotes stuff like that. I wouldn't recommend using the in things like Carbon Monoxide detectors or door locks. Just low use things.
