I'm on Magenta, I can confirm that the $800 trade in for a Pixel 7 for a Pixel 10 Pro XL is available, and is a solid deal for a 3 year phone, even with the $35 connection fee plus the lame tax on the $999 phone.
Never understood the connection fee charge. You are a T-Mobile customer, if the phone takes a sim card you would only need to remove the sim from your old phone and put it in the new phone. And yet they want to charge you $35.

I ordered s10 from swappa but it will take 5-7 days, can I start trad-ins without having IMEI?

This would be a good deal but I am not okay with the bootloader being locked. I don't care about the carrier lock cuz I have no plans on leaving T-Mobile but the bootloader portion is the deal breaker for me anyway
Is it confirmed that OEM unlocking is not possible?

Do they provide EIN before shipping so I can place an order?
Sellers who sell through Swappa does, but Ebay is luck of the draw, and you should message the seller ahead of time. Some listings have the IMEI already listed.

I've seen IMEI provided on the Swappa purchase page since March of this year

If you have a Costco membership, DEFINITELY work this deal by calling the T-Mobile Costco number: 833-428-1765
You will save the $35 activation/connection fee + get a Costco Cash card.
Thanks (and repped) for the tip! Last week I placed an order before I read your post. Today I called the number and they retroactively applied the discount. I got a $35 credit on my next bill to refund the connection fee. The T-Mobile rep submitted the $100 Costco card request (I had to provide my Costco membership #), which takes 10 business days to process. UPS will deliver the phone and earbuds today.

10 business weeks not days ! often it takes few quarters to receive Costco GC.

So apparently my lines are max out and there's a bug on the website that doesn't allow me to "upgrade" and automatically changes to add a new line and the app shop gives max line error without even doing anything once I click the pixel listing. The workaround is to go to manage then select the line the from there click upgrade instead of

Just call customer service or contact them on X and request to waive the charges and they will waive it. I have done it many times.

The US version of the Pixel 10 Pro XL does not take physical SIMs, though. Only eSIMs.

I have done the upgrade through this number 5 times and they've been gone through smoothly all 5 times. I got $630 total in monthly credits on an iPhone 16 Pro Max purchase, 3 Motorola Edge 2024s (by trading in older phones that I got for free), and $500 total in monthly credits for a Motorola Razr 2024. I shipped all the trade-in phones back. They are confirmed as received within 2 days of the tracking number showing "delivered".Pro tip: Take a video of the phone you're shipping for trade-in. Showing that it powers up, and navigate to the IMEI screen to prove it has the same IMEI as what's you gave them over the phone. Once T-Mobile sends you the text that they received your trade-in, you can delete the video. If you have a Pixel 8 or above, you should be buying a Samsung Galaxy S10/S10e/S20FE (from $85-125 on eBay or Swappa) for trade-in instead of trading in your Pixel. The Pixel 8 can be sold for ~$200 and Pixel 9 is more. Trading in anything that can be sold for $200 or more is leaving money on the table. I saw a commenter saying he traded in multiple Pixel 9s and that made my head hurt. If you're already on Pixel 9, you really don't have much of a reason to spend ~$100 (taxes on this deal) to upgrade, unless you really want the TSM manufactured Tensor G5.The Pixel 10 purchased through this deal will be LOCKED to T-Mobile. The phone needs to be paid off to be unlocked. Paying off the balance of the EIP (Equipment Installment Plan) will forfeit the monthly credit. HOWEVER, T-Mobile has free texting and free (slow) data for many countries, and you can also request that the phone be temporarily unlocked for your trip.
Sorry if I'm not understanding correctly. Are you saying you can get multiple bill credits for trading in more than 1 phone? So in order to get $1000 bill credits, would I buy 2 old phones?
