The storage tray costs an extra $19 so $179 for 512Gb is pretty good deal.

UniFi is a deep, expensive hole. I started out with this exact gateway earlier this year and have expanded to multiple switches and miscellaneous hardware. Their ecosystem is amazing for those that want a little more control over their home network without having to play network engineer everyday. It's the Apple of networking. It just works and you get addicted to expansion.

I run Unbound+DNSBL on it, would prefer to run that where DHCP lives to get automatic DNS registration from DHCP clients.
The UI is super easy to deal with and offers far more control compared to other setups. I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their system and get the most out of it.

And they do now, via onvif protocol.
However several important features are not available, specially ptz and motion detection according to their website.

Bummer

Source: I own a UCG-Fiber with one access point to the single port, because no-other are powered.
If this were on sale at this price, I'd buy this over the UCG-Fiber and spend the savings on a 8-port PoE switch.
Do note that neither have wifi built into them, so you'll need a separate wifi access point, or possibly connect your Eero as an AP, I'm not familiar with that brand so unsure if you can take it out of router mode and only use it as an AP. If you want to get into the UniFi space but want an all in one unit with wifi built in, take a look at their Dream Router 7 which is also on sale for BF.
Also there is a Cloud Gateway Fiber, different from the one you mentioned, that has the cloudkey built in like this one, but with the 10Gbps ports like the other, however that one is not currently on sale.

For me I have a 10Gbps connection to a NAS, and 10Gbps fiber internet connection, and while I could deal with 2.5Gbps connections to each, $100 is a small price difference to pay to fully utilize what I have, so UCG-Fiber for me as I need those 10Gbps ports, although 2 are SFP+ which even more expense... but whatever, it's only money... that's why I look in SD, to save money elsewhere!
