The imageclass color laser is fantastic. I hate inkjet crap.

Do yourself a favor and buy a used laser printer locally from FB marketplace. Laser printers are truly set it and forget it. Don't have to keep worrying about ink drying up. Of course print a test page when you go to pick up the used laser printer.

And the ink cost more than the printer itself.

I would rather look somewhere else like Epson EcoTank, they cost a few hundred dollar upfront but the cost of operation is significantly lower than these Canon or HP printers in the long run. My dad had a HP printer, the ink cost him like 60-70 bucks every other few months, I checked his bills and almost 1000 bucks spent in less than a 2 year use for ink alone, he paid 60bucks for HP printer.

I have been a fan of EcoTank for last few years because the ink would last a very long time and it's cheap. Ink doesn't dry like in these Canon or HP printers, and they have built in maintenance system to keep the printer in day one condition.
