Samsung showed the discounts, individually broken out, so I could easily confirm application of the promotional discount and the military discount.
I also opted for the 1TB S25 Ultra iteration. I was able to choose any color available, as it showed 3 that were online only and 4 that must be available everywhere. I did cycle through color options and watched pricing stay consistent irrespective of color choice.
I did all of this sitting at her PC in our home office, with two Chrome (not my preferred browser, but it's her PC) tabs side by side, one Samsung, one PayPal.
As far as I can tell, everything went through without a hiccup, although the recency leaves it in a pending status. I did receive a Samsung email noting my order (I've looong been in the Samsung ecosystem, phones and otherwise) and she received a PayPal notification of the pending order, so I'll presume all's well.
Here's photos I took during the process.
FWIW, I have no idea what was in place that triggered the offer for her — all I know is that I read about the promotion here on SD, confirmed with her that she has a PP account, went to her office PC and, after entering the PP site, the very first thing I saw was a full page for the Pay in 4 promo, which had a button/link to add the promo to the PP account, IIRC.
I was skimming and pushing through and wasn't trying to commit every detail to memory, so there's that. I was also juggling several items while doing this, and at some point I did enter the trade-in area, but IIRC, doing so negated the discounted pricing.
I did NOT carry on with that process through to the cart and order placement to see if any adjustments returned, so don't know if that angle can fit into the overall or not.
Lastly, I didn't opt for any discounted add-ons –there were 15-20 of those– nor did I choose any expedited shipping, or extended coverages (monthly fee options it appears).
you paid $234 more just for an extra 512gb? thats probably not the flex you think it is
I clearly felt the night camera difference from my S22U to my friends S24U or S25U. So I believe they have improved the camera in real rather than just stating the improved specs.
Would love your insights.
It requires a credit check which means you must provide your SSN to PayPal.
Aside from trusting sensitive data to crooks like PP, these companies have data leaks every other week. No thanks

THAT MEANS ALL $800 HAS TO BE PAID OFF BY THEN
JUST GOT AN EMAIL FROM PAYPAL ON THIS ...my original order had me paying $200 now then in 2weeks another $200 the 3rd payment would have been past the 8th of Dec nullifying the 20% discount I'm not sure if it can be paid back faster or not ?? I haven't researched to see if that is somehow possible .....just a heads up
Samsung may have some limit reached to sell this phone at $750. I am also sure it will come back.
