When I went to return my previous purchase Amazon offered a $15 refund to keep the item but I had to go through all the way to selecting UPS store

I was looking at Osprey/TNF packs around this size. Why is this one the standout that everyone seems to love? They both have like 15 packs in this size range. Was looking at stuff like the Flare or the Borealis but this seems to have like 10x the reviews of the rest. Looking at the reviews of it I can't really see what it does so much better, but just trying to make sure I'm not missing something.

Three standout features for travel: 1. It meets the personal items dimension requirements of pretty much all airlines 2. Expandable 3. Main compartment opens the prized clam shell style.
