Great deal. For those wondering, the collection is missing:
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023)
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (2025)

Dead Reckoning (Part 1) 4K is $10.49. They renamed it to just Dead Reckoning. Final Reckoning is part 2.
I believe that's for BR version.

Am I the only one who passes on these incomplete collections? I could see if one was scooping up the digitals (and adding later), but it feels weird to have a "collection" that's already outdated (see: Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious, etc.)

Not necessarily complaining, but wondering if others feel the same

Of course, the two with the best transfer are not included! FYI most of these are not that great!
Then don't buy them

I will buy if the price is right, knowing that the remainder I'm missing will end up costing more than a final final collection would cost of Id have waited.
But yeah, price would have to be right.
If I didn't have all these, I'd buy at this price, knowing the other 2 will cost me $10 each down the line.
Then again, I'm not as completist or OCD as I'm sure many others are.

I didn't, they were gifted to me so it's from personal experience.

For those that are interested.
The first 4 got half an upgrade and the only good one is the 5th one.
None of them are as good as DR I&II imo.

If you want to spend $35 on them, completely your prerogative.

Here is there reviews.

That's pretty typical for older versus new movies on 4k. The movie studios are typically lazy / cheap when it comes to re-releasing older movies on 4k. Also worth noting that early digital movies were mastered at 2k, which limits what can be done with a 4k release.

Content / story-wise, I'd say the Dead Reckoning movies are some of weakest in the MI franchise. Personally my favorite is Fallout.

Not for me but I'm not a collector. I just buy my favorite movies and skip the sequels/prequels that aren't as good.

Actually what a movie is shot in(resolution) plays a very small role with final PQ.
Almost all 4k movies are transferred to at least one form of HDR metadata.
Then you have the tone mapping of that metadata.
There is no standard on doing those two.

I would argue with more and more people going to digital.
Companies have zero incentive to making quality transfers.
It's a moot point especially on the audio side with it.

Although I see your point, if correctly timed or you are patient you can really get a deal.

A little bit ago there was an 8 F&F movie collection for $25 and the last 2 movies were available on a gruv by 3 for $30 sale. So all the movies when bought that way was $45 when the entire collection on Amazon was around $90.
