I bought one of these belts, they are not real leather and will develop creases pretty quickly. Your better off getting a cloth/canvas type belt if your budget is $13. Below are the materials the belt is made from. PU is synthetic leather. This is a plastic belt made from 30% synthetic leather.
Fabric type
37% Elastic Webbing, 33% EVA, 30% PU

you want a full grain leather belt, not this flaky b.s. look at the photos in the reviews.

Maybe a few years ago. Now, even 'brand name' expensive belts are garbage like this offer. 'Brand names' sell the use of their names to anyone with a dollar in an outstretched hand, not just in apparel, but in everything now. Companies that folded years ago but kept the name are profiting from this while the people licensing the name sell complete low rent trash.

I've seen Columbias like this in store and they are synthetic.

The only reason to buy faux leather PU belts is to use one time like for a funeral or a wedding or award ceremony. Otherwise you might as well grab $15 and throw them in the trash can.

The best deal in leather belts can be found at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. They're $10-$15 every day, and you can inspect them in-person.

Nope. The best belts I have purchased cost more but will last forever. Spend $75-100 and you will never need another one. That's the real slick deal.

There are no good belts these days - they sell junk in name of leather derivatives.. Purchased Timberland one from Costco as previous ones from same had lasted a couple of years. New one developed crease (leading to cuts/rips) in 3 days of use - so returned it back!

These get ugly fairly quickly. The timberland belts are $13.99 right now and last a very long time.
