You can get the 9955x3d model for around this price direct from Lenovo with the same memory configuration. Pretty much a straight CPU upgrade across the board over the core ultra 9 model unless you specifically need the Intel integrated graphics for Quick Sync. If it were up to me that's the route I would go.

I saw this too on Lenovo.com last night. Definitely a more powerful processor (9955 3D v 275HX) but much worse battery consumption. Though I guess that's kind of a moot point on gaming laptop.
