Just received mine yesterday and after hours of testing, they sound noticeably better than the XM5's I bought from Amazon a few weeks ago on sale (Used-like new) for around $110.

I'm still seeing "Excellent" for $142 or "Good" for $136 available.

NOTE: Don't forget Paypal 20% cash back with 4 Payments YMMV
NOTE: Best Buy offered SOME members $5-$10 certificates YMMV

Unfortunately, I did not get the BB certificate, but I did have the Paypal one, so that brings it down to $114 before taxes.

In my opinion, this deal cannot be beat for the sound quality you get from these!

The blue one seems to be a bit cheaper. I pulled the trigger but online reviews still lean towards Sony

Oh didn't notice that (don't think I could personally pull off the blue color). The Sony's do have a lot going for them, but I found the cups too shallow and the sound not as airy as what I'm used to-even after hours of trying out various EQ settings. You will see many reviewers praise the ANC, but knock a half point off for sound quality. For me, I prioritized sound over ANC since I will mostly use them around the house and I find less "ear pressure" from Sennheiser's ANC than I do w/ the XM5's. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm in the same boat - also got Sonys and these (thanks!) and will compare both when they come. Thankfully, the return window is wide.
