It's well known EA has neglected this game including the base game for years. I remember franchise mode PS1/2 having much more interesting features than it does today.

The game isnt good and hasnt been for over a decade, but UT in Madden requires no money spent to have a good team. They give out packs like crazy just playing the mode and you can decent cards everyday by spending 1 coin on the 80/85/90 card of the day.

It's still reviewed pretty highly. I am getting the college one, but had thought of getting madden also. I haven't had a football game in probably 20 years. I wonder if the good teams on madden actually perform better than the good teams on the college football one, as it should be, or if they make the best teams equal performing between the 2 games.

edit: great... ign rates about all EA games badly. I can get the college one for $10 after 2 certificates and still don't know if I should. But I mean it's that or no other college game. Maybe should skip the nhl one.
