I've used the 10' x 3.5" barrier version for years, we have a garage conversion that has a low spot in the driveway and it tends to let water under the wall during heavy downpours. Lots of people use them similarly, just for minor blockage or redirection. They swell up like a diaper and very slowly dry out again without rain.

I get 5-8 months out of each one, depending on rain and sun exposure. Fantastic products.

I got neighbors that use something like this to keep their porch from flooding. They do deflate but you have to leave them in the sun and keep them drying for days and days.

And hope your dogs don't get to them! It's like gel beads inside, and they don't dry up completely. But enough to be able to put in a large garbage bag for storage

Reuse mine 2 years running, after rain or event set them aside to dry then store away
peace of mind knowing you went a bit further to stop flooding

I've been using the 10 footers. Definitely can get a few years out of them as long as you dry them out thoroughly and store them carefully.
