Excuse my ignorance, are these supposed to be authentic items or knockoffs?

Edit: Clarifying if AliExpress sells authentic GameSir Items or is there a high risk of getting a knockoff?

It's a third party controller, which is very common. Nintendo makes their own controllers, and other companies make controllers for the Switch and Switch 2 as well.

Do you game, sir?

Real talk though, this is one of the better third party controllers for PC on the market. I do like the GameSir Super Nova a bit better as it has the adjustable triggers. GameSir makes quality products, I absolutely love my Galileo G8.

They've come a long way from when I bought a PS3 controller from them. I have this controller and use it as my main PC controller. The clicky buttons feel great and responsive.

Purchased this one off Amazon around 8 months ago. I use it for PC as my primary, and Switch 2 as an extra. If you connect to Switch 2 with bluetooth, you will notice added latency, so use the dongle instead. Since the layout of the face buttons is different then the Switch, it can be confusing.

I've tried others like 8Bitdo, OG Xbox Elite, Razer Wolverine, but for PC this controller has been the one I prefer and haven't felt like I needed a more expensive one.

I'd caution buying from AliExpress. I wouldn't trust my credit card info with them. Using PayPal is borked currently. Source: me. I placed a $10 order and got hit with a $10 cash advance charge that I had to dispute with my credit card.

I just got the g8+ Galileo for my S25 ultra and switch and I couldn't be happier.Next is a gamesir controller for the new pc but im undecided between wireless and wired as it's for cod and bf6.

Thanks I guess I wasn't very clear with my question, I know this is a third party controller, my question was about AliExpress shipping legit GameSir controllers or knockoffs of the brand. I've heard these sites tend to have an abudance of knockoffs

To be completely honest, wireless performance and latency on controllers is almost non-existent. I prefer wireless controllers just for the convenience now and even more now that controllers have fancy charging docks. Done playing? Put the controller where it belongs and it will be fully charged for your next gaming session.

Of course, if you are debating wired vs wireless for the competitive edge, the one upgrade everybody will agree on is switching to keyboard and mouse. Granted, the learning curve is much steeper, but the benefit grossly outweighs the cost.

TL;DR - Wireless is fine.

I use this daily over an Xbox elite v2 because somehow Gamesir has better QC that Microsoft and the RB button stopped consistently registering after 6 months on the elite v2.

Battery life could be better and rumble is a bit cheap feeling on the cyclone 2, but everything else feels great. Love the clickiness of the microswitches, especially the triggers buttons when switched to short throw digital mode. Paid $50 for it and still more than worth it at that price.

Probably. I've bought a few good gamesir nova lites from aliexpress and now one cyclone 2. I have had failures refunded when shops claiming to be in turkey just don't really ship anything and then I was refunded.

I got one of these in Black. It's not bad, and I like the charging cradle, but I prefer the Easy SMX instead as far as third party controllers go. Still worlds better than PS5/Xbone controllers.
