There is no credible scientific evidence that using aluminum pizza pans causes Alzheimer's disease. The idea came from old studies in the 1960s that observed higher aluminum levels in the brains of some Alzheimer's patients, but later, larger and better-designed research did not support aluminum as a cause.Everyday exposure to aluminum from cookware, food, or foil is very low. The body absorbs only a tiny fraction of ingested aluminum; most is excreted. Modern research and health organizations have found no consistent link between aluminum cookware and Alzheimer's.

For those worries about non-stick and aluminum exposure, De-Buyer is having a black Friday sale with free shipping and has a 12.8 inch blue carbon steel perforated and non perforated pizza pans. I believe it is $23. They also have bigger sizes. For me, it was worth the peace of mind.
Every chain uses these meshes and somehow have avoided class action lawsuits for the mass spread of Alzheimers. I guess you probably stay clear of eating any just to make sure.
used before, works ok for getting bottom crust done. BUT usually, the bottom crust comes out little flappy/floppy. If you try to get a crispy bottom crust, you end up burning the top and the side crusts
I end up using just the oven rack and get a perfect crust, only sometimes you have to cleanup any dropped cheese.

Sigh, RFK Jr. has entered the chat.
Joking aside, misinformation is still harmful.
The Alzheimer's Association itself states [alz.org] that studies have failed to confirm any role for aluminum in causing Alzheimer's.
A valid statement, "I don't use aluminum because of my Alzheimer's worries."
Not a valid statement, "If you want Alzheimer's [then use this aluminum pan].
