I get what you're saying, but gpus do not tend to bounce up and down in pricing the way memory and storage does. At $600 these gpus have tremendous price to performance.

I have been an active online PC Gamer for well over 20 years, and a member of the Slickdeals community for almost 15 years. Most of my hardware has been older models or mid-range at the best. I mean, if you like watching television you could certainly buy a 10-year-old 22-in insignia brand for $20 at a thrift store. Is the important thing just getting the family together to watch a movie? Most people get a lot more enjoyment with a 65 in television with modern technology for a more satisfying experience. Same goes with gaming PCs.

And I think what you don't understand is how many people in the Slickdeals community very much enjoy and find fulfillment out of hunting deals. I love the hobby of building gaming computers and finding good deals to make a nice build is extremely satisfying. If you don't, then by all means don't waste your time doing it.

I dont see it anymore, but you do get 10% back on it instead of the usual 5% if you use prime visa.

Was going to recommend Newegg (which I never thought I would again) if you had a trade in but looks like they dropped their trade in prices.

Before the drop they were pretty close to what you would get selling on marketplace without the hassle. 3060 Ti trade in was ~$170 just a week or two ago, now down to $140.

If anyone need or want to upgrade, now is the time. RAM price will remain high in 2026, thanks to AI.

Did they post new pricing? I'm seeing these values https://www.newegg.com/promotions...rs-tradein

Only being offered the regular 5% back, not even the delayed 6 to 7% prime day shipping.

Great prices across the board on all the PowerColor RX 9XXX cards. I don't see them getting any lower for the foreseeable future. I bought the Hellhound RX 9070 XT for $760 on release date. Highly recommended at these prices.

Its listed as 10% cashback right under the pricing when I go to the Hellhound page from the OP link.

I saw the same. Was going to trade in an old 2070super which they were going to give me $130 for. I decided to wait a few days to see if prices would come down, but when I looked yesterday they were only offering $100 for my trade in.

I dont know if they posted a full list anywhere, I only saw a way to check the price for one model at a time. When I'm on a new GPU product page I just click the "trade in" box and input the gpu info.

FWIW, Powercolor might not honor the warranty on a used GPU. Worth it to me to pay 15% more for new and have two years of coverage.

The july 2023 $100 980 pro thread said the same thing how "This is the ssd you're looking for". Based on my time here on slickdeals occasionally checking in between 2015 to 2025 now generally seeing how tech either stays at msrp, skyrockets past 2k, barely rarely goes under msrp; msrp is basically the best bet deal the common person can get without scouring slickdeals every single day wasting energy when people have better things to do.

Do gpus ever go under msrp for reasonably long times for everyone to get those deals if they existed?

Rant section. Honestly being here on slickdeals the past decade growing up made me realize how people can generally agree come to a consensus on what is a good deal such as the 700 3080 1080ti 7800xt etc and now this deal. People have better things to do with their life time energy like getting any good deal gpu to help them actually do what they want and realize that trying to chase deals is an endless pursuit that doesn't bring fulfillment. When what truly matters is getting a cheap $100 gpu that would bring as equally good gaming experiences because it's the playing with friends experience multiplayer that matters, not the fancy 4k 360hz 5090ti sli graphics.
