I got this desk (white top and legs) about two months ago when it was on sale for ~$210. I do think msrp $400 is on the high side, $250-300 is more reasonable.
I mainly got this for the ridiculous amount of desk space. My previous desk was a standard standing desk 48x24, so going to 79x32 has been a massive change, literally lol. (It was technically around 78.75x31.5 when I measured it).
I was actually pleasantly surprised by the 4 piece desk top, the seams are there yes but not as noticeable as I anticipated. If you use a large mousepad you wouldn't notice them at all. I know the 4 pieces is a concern for many, imo it's really negligible.
That being said, I'd say my previous desk was a little sturdier overall (thicker desk depth, wider/bulkier leg supports) but that could also be because it was just a smaller desk.
TLDR: If you're looking a budget standing desk with tons of work space, it's tough to beat this desk at this price point. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for in terms of overall quality and sturdiness. After two months of use, I'm very happy with the purchase overall.
