This is not the kit that I would start with. The drill is a pretty niche / advanced tool and there are a lot of cutting implements that you don't need.
To get started with gunpla here is what you need:
- A cutting matt
- Nips / snips (don't skimp - this is the most important tool)
- Relatively high-grit sandpaper (360 up to 1000+)
- Exacto blade
