I signed up with the link and can confirm it doesn't work on any device that isn't a fire tv device. Tried using it on my phone, browser, and LG tv and it doesn't work on any of them. Tried logging in directly through HBO and using prime as a service provider and got an error saying HBO can't verify my subscription.

Amazon and Roku have advertised that they will offer 12 months of HBO Max for $2.99 a month starting tomorrow. (The regular price is $10.99 a month.) A Hulu/Disney Plus bundle of $4.99 a month is also expected to be added on Monday. Paramount Plus will be reduced to $2.99 a month for two months starting on Tuesday.

I can confirm this. Log into your HBO MAX app and renew the subscription to be greeted with the $2.99/month option. I did it this way!

No, do not CONFIRM unless you see $2.99. When you select the $2.99 plan, scroll all the way down to CONTINUE.

Dont sign up thru amazon. SIgn up thru the app. I made the mistake of signing up thru amazon. cost me 2.99 to cancel
