Not in this case.

Kitchen shears are stainless steel all the way deep into the handles so you can put torque on them to cut through meat, then just take them apart and toss in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize.

I have more HF scissors than I can count (it was my go to free item for years) and they are for paper and thin plastic only. Disposable garbage compared to the Zwilling or Henckels.

Even when Zwilling or Henckels kitchen shears start to wear out and don't cut through meat as easily, you can still use them for cardboard and tougher things that the HF scissors can't cut when new.

Different product. The Zwilling ($10) is made in China and is 8.1" long.

The Henckels ($14) is made in Vietnam and is 10.5" long.

Yeah I took a look at both and I prefer the Henkel that comes apart and is longer.

Or, about 14 pair of perfectly serviceable scissors when on sale (regularly) at Harbor Freight. Yes, apples and oranges, but close enough?

You're the kind of guy that uses a butter knife as a screwdriver and a wrench is a hammer, aren't you?

What kind of blasphemy is this? Screwdrivers are for avocado toast. Butter is best spread with a left-handed metric crescent wrench.

It's true. Classic projection on my part.
