Community Reviews
The K1C is a CoreXY enclosed printer that stands out for ABS, nylon, and carbon fiber printing, with a built in camera, carbon filtration, an all metal extruder, and a hardened nozzle ready for abrasive filaments. The enclosure and filtration make it a tidy setup, and the camera helps monitor prints from elsewhere. Real world reports describe long, steady use with only routine hot end or maintenance issues. The main caution is refurb condition, since some units arrived damaged or heavily used, and return shipping can be expensive. A solid pick if those extra features matter more than the lower priced alternatives.
Common Questions (4)
A refurbished K1C can run for hundreds to over 1,000 hours with only minor maintenance like a hot-end replacement or occasional clog/extruder work. Some refurb units arrive damaged or heavily used, so condition on arrival can vary and may require Creality support or part replacement.
If you mainly print PLA, the cheaper K1 SE makes more sense because the K1C's enclosure, camera, and filtration are most useful for materials like ABS, nylon, and carbon fiber. The extra features are worth paying for only if you actually want them.
Yes. The K1C has a built-in enclosure, camera, and carbon filtration, which makes it better suited for ABS, nylon, and carbon-fiber filaments in a tidy setup. Those features are the main differences versus the K1 SE, and adding them later can cost more than the price gap.
Yes. It uses an all-metal extruder and hardened nozzle, which is why the K1C is positioned for abrasive filaments such as carbon-filled materials. Hardened steel nozzles are also readily available if replacement is needed.

The K1C has an enclosure and a built-in camera, those are literally the only differences. Both are things that can be added to the K1 SE later if you decide to upgrade. The camera is a nice but unnecessary extra, and the enclosure is only needed for specific filaments like ABS.

I wouldn't consider the camera unnecessary. I check my prints from the other side of the house or running errands.
Having said that, I got rid of my last Creality 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. Whether their designs are good and worthwhile can be argued all day long. But...their quality control, last I had one, was absolute garbage.
I did buy a "knock off" Creality camera for it off Amazon which was $21 and works perfectly.
Biggest pain was getting the enclosure fan to shut off with ASA filament and Orca slicer.
Super happy with this purcahse going from an Ender 3 Neo
