Yes, same problem. Tried a bunch of different cards, tried it from my phone instead of desktop, cell plan instead of wifi, privacy.com, etc. No go.
Hulu for $1 was fine for an impulse purchase. If you dont watch Disney/Marvel/Star Wars then the $5 is a pass.
Since Disney Plus already announced they are going to swallow all of Hulu content this deal should be the same $1.99 or $3 it was last year for Disney Plus since the services are about to be one and the same.
If Paramount and Peacock had a brain they'd match HBOs deal or undercut them all to snap up the fleeing subscribers and boost their numbers. I already get Netflix and Prime for free so tacking on another $60 a year for this bundle with ads is a no-go.
I can't wait to see the quarterly reports for Disney when they announce they lost double digit percentage of subscribers between this, the bad PR from the culture wars, and the failing economy 🤣

sucks the $1/mo standalone hulu deal is gone.
Those who just want hulu, check your email I still have an offer from October that expires in December for 6 months of hulu @ $3/mo.
If you sign up for a kroger mastercard, it comes with boost essential (6 month free trial of hulu/disney), but you can upgrade to premium plan for $30/year ($2.50/mo) which includes one year of hulu/disney ad-supported. Last year i picked disney cos hulu always does $1 BF promos but next year will pick hulu.
