PSA: If you don't need the Hulu and happen to live near a Krogers, you can get Kroger Boost membership (free same day delivery) + Disney included for $50 for 1 year (Black Friday, half off membership price). That's like $4 a month. I already get Hulu for $1.99 with student discount, so I went the Kroger route instead

TY for sharing. Will still do this but it's a tougher call at $5. Hulu is worth $0 to me and Disney Plus is iffy, at best.

The Boost membership also comes with Hulu and Disney just like this deal. I guess the one difference is that you are paying for the whole year with Boost while the deal in this thread is month to month with a guaranteed price for the year.
I believe it's Disney OR Hulu OR ESPN, you can only activate one at a time, but I believe it allows you to switch between them..

I went with $14.99 ads free bundle. But used my Amex BCP, which should make this $5/month. Totally worth with no ads.

Canceling Disney+, not a good company. Voting with wallet at any price. Hopefully people consider what they've done before handing them money.

Thanks. This is still low enough that the AmEx benefit covers it, my kids will be happy.
Amex benefit? Certain Amex products?

Hulu is integrated into Disney+ app. Not working on standalone Hulu app.
If u log into your disney app, go to manage account, scroll down to activate hulu then u can use the standalone hulu app.

I think this really depends on how much you like Hulu & Disney plus and how much content you watch on those platforms.
For me, I like Hulu and some of their original programming but it's something I can live without.

Would I pay $19 a months for ad free? No
Would I pay a $1 a month with ads? Heck yeah
Would I pay $5 a month with ads when there isn't really anything on Disney Plus for me? This one is a bit tougher sell for me than the promo last year for $1 a month but $5 is still reasonable to me since there is original content that I enjoy on Hulu.
Agreed
I don't think we watch enough to justify an additional $10 month for no ads. The jump from $5 to $15 is just too much imo.
I would probably bite at $10 for no ads but that's it.

Should I be able to get this to work as a current customer and pay for no ads?

Great deal. Thanks for sharing. It seems like the ads are minimal (and sometimes nonexistent) for kids shows. Spidey and his amazing friends.

Wish there was a deal for this without ads. I'd rather download everything to plex than deal with ads

Yeah, the great thing about innovation and forward progress is we got streaming services over the internet which made watching TV cheaper and ad-free. Now we've devolved back to a shitter version of cable TV, because maximizing profit for shareholders is more important than making the service better for customers.
Cable costs a lot more than $5/month.
Never in my life over decades did cable cost $5/month. Streaming is better and cheaper.

Completely agree. Disney is worth $0.50/month to me. Hulu is $0. $5/ month is a hard pass.
