I would take the Legion 15.1" at this price over the Acer Predator. Better in almost everyway. Not sure if I would take it over the 5070TI model though even with the price difference. Would be trading noticeably worse build quality and longevity for a LOT more power... but if you don't know the difference between a 5070TI vs a 5060 you probably aren't pushing anything hard enough to make the trade of an extra couple hundred bucks+worse build quality over the Legion.
Or you are buying for someone else, in which case the 16S will be dramatically better than this for some gaming tasks especially cutting edge AAA titles moving forward. I don't play those a lot so would opt for the Legion 5 for 999.99 with a 5060, way better build quality and a OLED. Oh and better battery life, pretty sure it's rough on these ACERs with a Ultra 9.
