I have 3 of these in a triple monitor setup. Bought them back when Costco carried it last year. Works amazingly well.
Do note that while the physical bezel is very slim, the screen has quite a thick black bar running along each side and top that could break immersion if you were going for a near seamless/bezel-less setup.

Other than that, I can't think of many other cons to this monitor! It's going strong even at 1.5 years old for me.

I wouldn't buy anything from the Acer ebay store. My monitor took forever to ship and was packed like shit. It had a huge crack in the screen. Return took forever. Avoid them like the plague. Don't believe me? Read their reviews on the ratings page. Horrible.

Just to throw another data point in here. I've bought five of these things over the last year. Three last December, liked them so much got two more when I was setting up a second workstation last summer. All five arrived fine and worked great. They were all packed with inflatable packing material, not the form fitting styrofoam that you usually get in a monitor box. No issues with them but could certainly see how they might suffer a bit from poor handling.

I absolutely love the things. However, take that with a grain of salt as I'm just using them for acres of browser and command line real estate, not gaming or other high intensity stuff. Way less power consumption than my old ones... but my old ones were really old, all probably Dell slickdeals from like 15-20 years ago

Almost forgot, I was eyeballing them last week for a client and they were actually slightly cheaper. I think $118 with a $10 coupon. But either way though it's an excellent monitor for the price.

I've purchased 3 of these from Acer. All three have been packaged in a very large box with the monitor fully wrapped in that very robust electronics bubble wrap stuff. All 3 are still going strong and work great for 3D CAD work and my son runs his PS5 on one also. Very smooth game play and great colors. Review is based on price, value and performance.

I just got mine today. Not sure if someone at Acer goofed or not, but this monitor is actually 180mhz. No boost mode, overclock, etc, just DisplayPort out of the box. I had googled the model in the listing and saw this, but figured it was incorrectly entered and was a lesser-variant of the model they put on the listing. But this is actually the model in the details of the listing.

So it's a 180mhz , 1500R curved VA panel. An absolute steal at the $113 I got it for. Even included a display port cable in the box.

It was packed perfectly fine, in relation to above comments. The box was adequate and it had some serious bubble wrap that didn't pop when I accidentally stepped on it, and I'm a substantial human. (it was like the long tubes of air molded to fit the monitor in). It was also delivered to me in 2 days. I ordered on Sunday, shipped Monday, and arrived Wednesday. Even though I was not far from the ship out location, they got the item out next day.

Looking into this more, apparently the 180hz is an "overclocked" refresh rate. Though on the monitor's menu the overclock mode is not on. Either way, 180hz is achievable, but I am going to set it to 144hz for longevity (i hardly get over 144fps anyway). Seems like you have to set this refresh rate in windows and then enable it in the menu to actually get the overclock.

Still an absolute steal !

Good price, but I don't like curve monitor. Especially when you place multiples along each other.

Same thing happened to me last year. I bought three refurbished monitors, one had the original Styrofoam inserts but the other two were shipped in a box with only a thin bubble sleeve and both of those were cracked. The return for the two damaged ones was a huge PITA, they tried blaming me for it. Luckily I always record opening packages.

Often times it's the carrier that mishandled these which results in damage. I've seen some pretty terrible package handling especially by FedEx. Boxes thrown in the back of the truck and not secured during transport.

That doesn't excuse the seller from packing a 34" ultra wide in just a thin bubble sleeve then tossing it haphazardly in a box.

Got this last year. It developed a buzzing interference sound that comes and goes. I was refunded via the all state extended warranty

I purchased two earlier this year after some eye treatments to replace 3 27 inch monitors, Can't go back to standaard 27 inch so i purchased a 3rd for my Mac. Acer monitoirs sold thru Ebay come with 2 year Acer Warranty. My original 27 inch acer monitors were purchased in 2021 from ebay acer, no issues for 4 yearss.
