See my edit... But yes... Be sure you've saved the offer in your paypal first. Login to paypal and then goto rewards... Should be the 20% offer in the list, then save it.

Also correct.. There will be no indication that the 20% is being activated during checkout. That will only show in your PayPal account as "points pending". 100pts = $1.

I have 20390 points pending for this transaction.

Are PNY cards any good?
They're a close partner to nVidia. They make a lot of business class stuff. I've owned a few of their GPUs in the past.. like a 780GTX or something, lol.

Biggest issue I've seen consistently reported is potential for coil whine from the fans.

I pulled the trigger on this. I activated the deal on the Paypal site. On Walmart.com I paid with Paypal 4 payment option after clicking checkout and choosing Paypal. It was at the top of the Paypal popup. It wanted a card number (not the one I use which is virtual) so I tried 2 different actual cards but it wouldn't work until I paid with my debit card. Then it went through. Total was $1015.43. Hopefully Paypal comes through with the 20% ($189.80) for an out the door price of $825.63. Thank OP!

I have PayPal credit pre-approved, and have offer of 20% back, but when I checkout at Walmart I don't see 20% back option !

Do I have get approval for their credit before I'll see the 20% back option?

Step 1 - First "save" the deal to your PayPal account (under rewards in PayPal)

Step 2 - Uncheck "remember paypal" at Walmart so it clears your data

Step 3 - Open new browser window at Walmart (just a precaution)

Step 4 - Add whatever you want to cart (max $250 cash back per transaction)

Step 5 - Use PayPal when you check out... It should ask you to login with a pop-up window and during that process you should be able to pick from various payment methods with PayPal. (be sure to use the pay in 4 option.. Though the monthly option may work too, but I've not chanced that one)

Step 6 - Finish paying.. You will NOT get any notification of the 20% off deal during check out.

Step 7 - Verify you have "points pending" by going back to your PayPal account... Should be around 20,000 points for this 5080 (100pts = $1 back within 90 days)

See my previous post... You need to save the deal in your PayPal account first... And you will also NOT get any indication during check out of the 20% deal. You can only verify it worked by going back to PayPal and verifying how many points are pending.

In the terms it says Reward Redemption: Reward should be available in Eligible Participant's Account Overview section of the PayPal Account to redeem for cash and other redemption options within fourteen (14) days after qualifying to receive the Reward, although may take longer.

Thanks, but guys.. DONT do what I did.. and think that the Credit Card - Pay later is the same thing. I know I know, Im stupid.. but I went through the application, and well, got approved for their credit card which i DONT wantEEK!... and NO longer can apply for the pay later (I found where to apply to pay later, later on the actual phone application, not the web)
AND just to add salt to my wound now I have a hard credit pull which I am extremely careful about. It's gonna be awhile before I live this one down!

Frown Oof, thanks for the warning, I've updated my step guide post to add this warning... Hopefully after a little time the pay in 4 will come back to you. Can always try incognito mode or different browser and see if you can trigger it.

Can you switch from debit to a credit card through the PayPal checkout with the 4 payment plan? Going to add my cc but don't want it to mess up anything. It was on debit by default.

You can add your credit card as a payment option in PayPal... BUT some people have reported that PayPal will deny the pay in 4 on some cards. Not sure the the ones that work vs don't so can just try and see if goes through.

not a good price; only worth it if you have nothing else to buy with your paypal discount.

Thought about this, but with the 5070ti with the PayPal discount made more sense to me from a 3080. Things like frame gen, vram, ray tracing performance are big enough upgrades and closer to what I paid for my 3080. This feels more like what the 80ti used to be.

You are 100% correct and I did the same upgrade rtx 3080 to pny argb rtx 5070ti for $628 tax included with PayPal 20% and 2% Citi double Cash extending 3 years warranty to 5 years from cc

To the folks still deciding 5080 or 5070 ti. The difference between the two are small and they both have the same vram. The money you saved with pny argb 5070 ti in this case is $220 include taxes. If you invest this savings to buy nvidia call options, by the time the rtx 50 supers with 24gb or rtx 60 series come out, you can probably upgrade for higher vram by selling the rtx 5070ti and the profits from the nvidia call options. And you get RGB with the rtx 5070ti and we all know RGB boost your fps😆

To the folks recommending the radeon 9070xt.
It's not worth losing ray tracing performance, dlss4 and mfg over tiny savings you get from 9070xt if you are getting 5070ti, the price difference is so small between the two, you have almost no reason to go radeon and 9070xt is a slower card with higher electric bill than rtx 5070ti especially when you undervolt and overclock
