I have one of these sitting in my sunroom. Been in there 2 years with zero issues. It even got beat up and kicked around a few times(foster pets knocked it over at least 10-15 times before I secure mounted it). This is probably my 5-6th Hisense TV. They are great. I've brought probably nearly over 100 because of work for projects and as large screen monitors for presentations. I only ever had 1 break(I believe it was the lightning storm though and my fault for not having surge protector on it). I do not know how they are these days but Hisense always been solid TV's for me. Walmart replacement is easy. Amazon as well. So long as I am buying from either I am not worried at all.
As for reviews. Hisense is #2 in TV sales ranking now. Of course you will find bad reviews if you really go look.
Also want to comment, for someone that has not had cable for 20+ years. It is insane the amount of free shows and movies on Smart TVs now. Also fee apps that let you watch movies and shows for free, if you watch some ads. I am not even sure who needs cable anymore other than for sports.

Any idea how this compares to last year's onn 55" 4k roku TV? Been happy with it and had it in my cart to see if it goes on sale again.
Not sure why any/non of these Big Box stores have no staff looking at CyberSecurity Warnings from 3 Digit Alphabets in both parties. CCP brands HiSense, TCL, etc - known public information active hacks. So, fine if you get, but I wouid not connect them to the internet. Similar to DJI technologies that backdoor connect and upload images/videos to CCP Intelligence servers, the minute connected to internet. Again, public knowledge, and shocked still sold in Big Box stores, much like the TP-Link routers used to launch CCP Cyberattacks for Taiwan 2027 March 2024 "Volt Typhoon" and other "classified" attacks. Water supply systems in some states so completely compromised, they asked for White Hat Volunteers to help at DefCon Aug. 2024. All our cellular networks so completely compromised, may never be fully recovered. Similar to this week's Cyberattacks that coordinated with Live Fire drills off the coast of Taiwan / Japan this week.
it's scary how many one star reviews are complaining about tv stop working after less than one year of use.
Hisense backlights tend to die, especially if you use your TV a lot. This has been a known problem with Hisense TVs for a long time. Ours only lasted about three years.

Had Hisense for 5 years+ until my kid broke it, it may be a hit or miss for people. I was fairly satisfied with what I got.
That being said, this model number alludes to it being a Black Friday specific model. Pass

For low end Chinese TVs I stick with TCL.
