Basically you either have to be a Samsung, employee, a student, a military member (I think), or part of an affiliated organization. I'm a AAA member, which qualifies for the discount. You just need to use the AAA website and login using a special link to activate the savings.

I only saw the lowest price, $74* for 1tb model, in the app, and it doesn't take any referral code (always say "The referral code you entered was used for another transaction. You may use it only one time."). Since it is the app, I would not be able to get rakut3n cb either.
