US Mobile's annual Unlimited Premium deal is mainly a low-cost way to get T Mobile based Light Speed service with unlimited talk, text, data, and 20 GB of monthly international data. The plan can be activated later, but the promo page says the line must be activated within 30 days and stay on Light Speed for the year. Multi Network can be added for backup coverage on Verizon or AT&T, though it uses a separate number and may be limited by device support. The main tradeoff is being locked to T Mobile priority and coverage, which matters in congested or weak signal areas.

Does this mean, US mobile primary line can be switched between diff networks? or Does it adds an additional line to the primary line?
Most phones will let you pick a default line for data, and separately a default line for text/etc.
This special promotion requires a port-in from another carrier. You'll need to be on the Light Speed throughout the plan

How do the two promos compare? The other promo includes a phone - is it a better deal or does it complicate things?

Abbas here, How may I help?
Hi qq. what does this "Unlimited Premium Multi-Network Add-On" mean?
Abbas
Sure lemme share how that works
How It Works:
• This add-on provides a backup line on a different network from your primary one. • For example, if your primary network is Darkstar but the signal is weak in your office, you can instantly switch to your backup line on Warp or Light Speed for better coverage. • Both lines come with unlimited data, with premium data shared between them, along with unlimited talk and text
However, some people mistakenly believe that the multi-network line will share the same number as the main line. That is not the case.
With this add-on, you will receive a new number and an entirely separate line. It serves as a backup and offers the flexibility of having an additional line on a different network.
Here's my thought on how to get multi-network working: there is a physical SIM solution that holds multiple eSIM profiles from a company called esim dot me. The device adds eSIM capabilities to a non-natively eSIM capable phone (such as the Motorola Thinkphone) (They ship from Germany and it was expensive, like 85+ euro for the deluxe CARD that allows you to use it on multiple makes and models of phone and store up to 15 eSIM profiles. I bought one (to use in a Samsung Galaxy A14 and to experiment in other non-eSIM devices like a ThinkPad laptop w/ mobile chip) and you need to pay tariffs to DHL before they release the package to your final shipping destination in the United States.
The physical CARD solution works well (and is packaged professionally in a retail sleeve) and enabled the test Samsung Galaxy A14 to use an Airalo eSIM data package while traveling in Asia. The companion eSIM Google Play Store app allows the user to add and switch from eSIM profiles on the fly. From that experience, I would surmise that US Mobile's Multi-Network add-on can work as long as each discrete network is a unique eSIM profile. The physical CARD and companion eSIM app will help you add and switch networks.
on another topic, what is your usage opinion of the ThinkPhone?
I like the side action button to launch a specific app (side button also present on the Motorola Edge 2024) and have been experimenting with Smart Connect (Moto's Samsung Dex equivalent) to connect the ThinkPhone to an external monitor via HDMI cable and paired phone with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Wirelessly casting video signal to a tv (via MiraCast) introduces too much input lag, so I went with the HDMI cable. IMO A nice portable workstation solution option for short term or emergency productivity use but has its limitations with app multi-tasking and I could not use it as a daily driver workstation (yet).
