I was able to get a Red Pocket e-SIM number for $7.78 and successfully ported it in to Metro. Plus Metro total of $165.24. All in with eSIM port-in and Metro is $173.02. Now we wait for it to unlock lol

I got this promotion 2 days ago, I had to call 5 different stores around my area, all them were charging $400 - $500 price out of the door. Only on one I was able to get $300. They asked me for my ID and I had to verify myself with a selfie scanner, just like the website. FYI

If you've got $100 for this, this is a better trade in for Apple than the iPhone 13 deal

correct, but at 150-160, the 13 is less than 60 and trade in for 180.

Actually it may not be better because 16e has about $9 in taxes, so you really only get $6 more from the 16e when you consider cost + the trade in value. Plus you are spending $100+ for the phone to get that $6

You might be right but the iPhone 13 wasn't free when this 16e deal came out.

I keep getting "Sorry, we couldn't reserve your number.
We're weren't able to connect with your carrier to get your number reserved. Please continue with a new number, or visit a store to complete your number transfer. Promotions may vary in-store."

me too. You have the Stuck Port-in, call in to release it, hopefully. Stuck port-in: using the # many times with different order inputs.

You mean the phone should not be used (beside WiFi) with any Metro plan in a year if I want it unlocked?

Can someone clarify that after 30 days we don't pay and the line gets cut off and the phone should unlock after 1 year right? I don't care about the gift card. Just going to use it on wifi.
