Where to from Metro? I have a line expiring in a few days and want to see what people are doing with their numbers. I don't want to let the line expire and lose it.

Deal still works with Google Voice numbers. Ordered one 16e at $155 which delivered yesterday and ordered another at $130 with Add a Line.

Thanks. I'll probably do that or just renew metro. I had a big credit on my account so another month would be $8.00.

Would either of these be doable:
1) port my number back out to my current provider mint mobile after several months. Not pay for metro. Have iphone unlocked in 12 months

2) downgrade the phone plan to the cheapest after 1 month, keep paying for metro for that year, and once phone is unlocked go back to mint?
i need both a new phone and would actually use the cellular service, but would switch back to mint ideal asap as they are much cheaper. I understand that I would need to wait for a year to be unlocked. Would metro charge any other extras?

Do you have another phone (iPhone or otherwise) to use while waiting the 12 months?

Still $99 so I guess time to try a third one.
How much we need to pay for the third one - Add a line?

terms indicated limit of two per person/account but i think i saw much earlier in the thread somebody claiming to have gotten at least three. but probably two, i'd speculate they probably fixed whatever the loophole was.

to get two with the second only needing to pay $30 for the month of service instead of $55, you buy one and wait for it to arrive (so you can log in using the SMS they send to the new phone) and use "add a line" once logged in to buy the second.

Edit: you might be able to get a third, i've gotten two and if I use add a line and type a non-T-Mobile number to port it, it still shows $99, but I don't know if the order would go through (I don't have a non-T-Mobile number to port at the moment). If I type in a Tello (T-Mobile MNVO) number to port in, the price changes from $99 to $299.

Did you get the gift cards for buying the phones?

Edit: Ah I see, you traded them in to an Apple store.

Anyone know if opening two lines and cancelling the second one would make the first line ineligible for the $100 rebate card? I was planning on keeping one line open for at least the 3 months.

Can we move the esim to another phone? I know you don't need active service on this phone but if I want to use the phone line on my other phone, can I do so and still get this phone unlocked in 1 year?
