I got this promotion 2 days ago, I had to call 5 different stores around my area, all them were charging $400 - $500 price out of the door. Only on one I was able to get $300. They asked me for my ID and I had to verify myself with a selfie scanner, just like the website. FYI

That's an in-store exclusive offer. Do you know how much the plans are, and when it unlocks?

I read somewhere else it's around $250-$270 total, unlocks in 60 days.

3 Month Plan - $195 ($65 per mo)
FULL retail tax of device (5-10%) - $60

Plus whatever else they try and stick on ya.

Almost the same as buying on local marketplace/eBay - metro is the most appealing with price point at $155 but one year unlock policy hurts

I'll bite at the $200 with 60 day unlock

Just to be clear so you paid the 155 and that it and it auto unlock after 1 year? You don't have to make any more payment after that?

Can you use this iPhone 16e with any T-Mobile MVNO after you pay for 3 months of Metro service? If that's the case it would be worth it for me. I just switched from Visible to Xfinity Mobile because I got 1 free phone line. I could sell my unlocked iPhone 13 Pro Max. It's too big and heavy.

Not any more, it was possible more than one year ago.
No, a phone locked to Metro by T-Mobile cannot be used on the T-Mobile network until it is unlocked Metro locks devices for 365 days after activation, and a phone must be fully paid off and meet other requirements before Metro will unlock it.
