If you read the terms and conditions, you can only redeem this on a Hulu or ESPN account. The Disney/Hulu bundle is billed through Disney. It states you cannot redeem this if billed on Disney, making the AMEX card member discount of $7 ineffective for the additional $3 bucks (Disney bundle $5 plus what people wanted of HBO $3 totaling $8 bucks). I personally tried and no go.

We see the $3 HBO in Hulu/Disney, with the $4.99 deal when on our Firestick, but it won't let us add it. We do not see it on our PC on the web or in the Hulu or Disney apps (only for $9.99 on those). I would like to add the $3 HBO since we have the Amex discount for hulu/disney. If we add it via Prime, we don't get the Amex discount for HBO.

I bought the new Disney + Hulu bundle. I am not able to use Hulu app. It is asking to use Disney plus app for Hulu. Hulu does not seem to have Hotstar content from India in US.

Go to your disney app 'manage account', scroll down to activate hulu, the u can use hulu app separately.
