FYI, but a new Apple TV was supposed to launch soon, at least according to rumors. https://www.macrumors.com/roundup/apple-tv/
This is NOT a recommendation for or against buying one, but rather a heads up just so that no one is surprised IF the new model is released shortly after making a purchase.

All of the things you hate about it are the reason I was happy to pay a premium for it. It's extremely fast for a smart TV box and doesn't have any junk like branded buttons or ads on screen.The only reason I don't have them on all my TVs yet is because of the rumored updated version but that rumor has been going on so long that I might just grab these at this price

Once you understand that you cannot claim those three months if you had claimed them previously with another Apple product, it doesn't.

I'm not sure why you think Costco has an unlimited supply of these. One of the strangest negatives about Costco I think I've come across. They haven't offered this item in-store since last year's sale (which, sold out extremely quickly as well...) and they have a very limited number of distribution centers across the US.
I'm more mad at Apple for not producing more. Confused

Yes they mentioned the same to me. I paid in full and was said will get the difference back today Dec 2. Rep said added note to my account reg the same as Costco price is valid till Dec 1.

I also tried to price match yesterday and today, was told both days that due to Cyber Monday price matching is on hold, and will resume tomorrow Dec 3.

Really hoping it comes back in stock at Costco. Or at this point I'd take the Target 15% gift card deal too.

Right... Costco's online shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired. It's gotten better but still not where it should be.

or literally do what amazon does w. lightning deals... once it's over, back to regular price. show the progress bar. it's not that they can't do this - they just don't want to.

Costco app/website/in-store often are run like 3 separate businesses. I wish they'd unify this.
