I have it and I like mine. Lighter and easier to tote around than my corded 7 1/2 (Ridgid) one, which just sits on my shelf now.For me it does the few cuts I need here and there and with the two 4aH batteries and the charger this is a really great deal imo.

This is a no brainer to buy, unless, like me, -
A corded worm drive + the 7 1/2 18v version is already sitting on the shelf with plenty of batteries.
If it was the new saw-all .... my small milwaukee wearing out and wiaiting for Ridged version to go on sale.

Very good deal. Have this 6 1/2 circ saw and would buy again! Their is a comprehensive vid comparing milw, ryobi, dewalt... 6 1/2 circ saw's and this Ridgid is the most powerful.

I just got HD to price match this at $117 compared to $149 i bought it at last deal. They didnt want to price match because the orginal deal was buy the saw and get the batteries for free. This deal is buy the batteries and get the saw for free (face palm). They quickly refunded the difference when i told them i was going to return the used items and buy them again new at a cheaper price, good luck to others price matching.

I saw the difference of this 6 1/2" (with 2 1/4" cut) and the 7 1/2" (with 2 9/16" cut) is only 5/16" difference. I assume this 6 1/2" can easily cut a 2x4 ?
