Also, can buy up to two of these phones and you'll get the silver plan on the second line for $30. You don't even have to buy them both at the same time. I bought one phone to unlock and my account now says I can add a second line for $30. Note that you do have to maintain the silver plan to keep this discount.

Is there any general advice for de-bloating the tablet? i.e. which apps to remove? I recall reading that a number of apps "reactivate" upon restart even if they were marked as disabled.
I hope to use it for web browsing, videos, and reading primarily around the house, so it's not super critical. I figured it would help keep some RAM free. I deactivated the "RAM Boost".
I saw this reddit thread mentioning Canta and Shizuku for debloating Motorola phones:

EDIT: Chase $14.08 credit posted today. I got an e-mail stating I successfully redeemed one of my Chase Offers. This was a couple of hours before I activated t he devices, but I just saw the e-mail now.

Interestingly, a few of the common bloatware apps, like Facebook and Mobile Services, were disabled out of the box and never became enabled. I uninstalled them with Canta anyway because why not.

I will check again after a reboot.
I will also say that the color paper mode is growing on me. I played a few retro games today, and it gives a neat aesthetic.
i hadn't activated mine yet, but i've read that Verizon has now for their prepaid brands gone from a 60 day to a 365 day unlock policy. lovely. this phone is pretty useless to me at this point.

I can't definitively say that there is a connection between that device pulse app updating and my phone unlocking but perhaps it did.
My 60 days of service ended on 1/23/26 and it didnt unlock either. I turned it back on and tried again tonight and it still showed as locked. I left the wifi running and put the ST SIM back in. A few minutes later the "device pulse" app said it updated. It looked like a bunch of phone stats including SIM #... so i decided to try my other carrier SIM again. It showed as LOCKED still but a few seconds later, 5g connected and it worked.

Been getting an email every day from StraightTalk for a week now, to "Refill today to keep your service running." Best way to stop these emails? Thanks.
My cell also unlocked yesterday. Exactly 1 day after 60 days. Shows Network Lock as Unlocked. Swapped out ST SIM with my SIM. Cell works great.
