Not bad. I bought this same setup 14 months ago for a little over $1,500 and it's been solid.

Just don't use Lenovo Vantage to update anything, or at the very least, don't use it to update bios, even if its recommended--Do it manually.

Title says GeForce RTX 4070 TI Super, which would make this an ok deal, though a similar (maybe better) spec Acer was just $999 on eBay. But the listing states in two places a GeForce RTX 4070 Super, makes it much less of a deal IMO.

Agreed - I would go by the listing itself. One of their other products has "5070 Super" in the title which doesn't exist.

Listing which shows "5070 Super" in title:

I'd probably get the AMD CPU offering which lists 4070 Ti Super properly in the listing. Yeah the 7700 isnt as good productivity wise as the 14900 but is great for gaming and wont have to worry about intel 13/14th gen frying itself. 4070 Ti Super 16gb is also a lot better than 4070 super 12gb if the original listing is in fact a typo.

Yup, nowhere does it even say 16GB, which the Ti Super has.
Anyone buying this should expect to get a 4070 Super 12GB.

Seller has less than 98% positive feedback.

Also if it is not as described eBay will refund you (it's a pain to return the item, but you will at least get refunded if it has the wrong GPU)

How are the parts in these? Are they standard retail-style parts or does Lenovo put oem-style parts in them? Like are the motherboards and power supplies identifiable models that can be purchased at retail stores, or are they something that you'll only find in Lenovo's mass produced builds?

I ask because the Acer Nitro and Predator Desktop lines are very different in the respect. The refurb Nitro 60 that I ordered off eBay had legitimate retail-style parts, while the refurb Predator Orion 5000 had OEM style parts that were of lower quality.

For example, here were the GPU and Power supply in each:
Nitro 60:
GPU: Standard Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC RTX 5070 ti
PSU: Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER GT 850w fully modular (PC also came with retail-style Thermaltake fabric bag with extra cables)
RAM: Name brand DDR5 6000 CL36

Predator Orion 5000:
GPU: OEM style Predator Branded RTX 4070 Ti super with blower-style cooler with DO NOT TOUCH sticker on the single fan
PSU: Liteon power supply, not fully modular
RAM: Predator branding on heat spreader

Hi. Did your pc arrive yet, have you been using it? Been keeping an eye on the Nitro 60 with the 5070ti, some people who already bought it from Costco and Walmart said they had issues with it and were gonna be returning it. They said the pc was constantly crashing, powering down randomly and the fans would randomly ramp up in speed.

These issues were coming up for both the Ryzen 9 7900 and the I7-14700F versions. Did you get yours from the acer ebay store? Thanks

I did contact them and they did respond that it is a Ti...for what it's worth.

I was pleasantly surprised by the one I bought from eBay Acer Refurbished even though I will be returning it. It is currently on sale for $1455, which I think may be a little expensive if you're able to hop on a deal for individual components, which I was. But as far as quality goes, I was very satisfied with the actual build of the machine. The PSU has a smart silent switch, which in combination of fan control, allowed for the PC to be made silent at idle. If I would have replaced the stock cooler with a phantom spirit or peerless assassin, it would have fit my needs very well as a golf sim PC (would have swapped my 4070 in my main PC with the 5070 ti).

But I ended up getting a 5070 ti from Walmart and a 9800x3d bundle from newegg, so I'm going to repurpose my old i5-14600k PC to the golf sim and build a new main rig with a 9800x3d

Standard PC components from what I can tell, modular PSU, no weird shaped motherboard like Dell was (or still is?) doing.

Only thing I wouldn't be 100% on is the water cooling.

I've been running the crap out of mine (this exact system) for 14 months, first 2 months were horrible due to Microsoft pushing out back-to-back garbage Windows updates, but the last 12 months have been great, haven't crashed/BSOD since the bad Windows updates.

What's the issue with your GPU? I seldomly update drivers, I find when I did that in the past, it would introduce issues. On my PC before this one, if I had GeForce Experience installed, I would crash multiple times a day, didn't matter if it was a fresh Windows install and manual driver install, there was some sort of hardware or software conflict that just broke everything when GFE was installed.

It can take a fair bit of investigating to figure out the cause, but WinDBG is a good start if you are getting dmp files. But I can report, this specific system does appear to be solid, at least with the intel microcode update right out of the box on a fresh 14th gen i9.
