FWIW, you can get "real" spouts for a couple bucks apiece on Temu and AliExpress if you buy a multi-pack.

These things don't seal well around the nossle and then leak. Cheap cans always leak.

Surprisingly enough Amazon also carries spout replacement kits to bring you back to sane style gas cans (pre 2009 EPA/carb regulations).

Yeah, hadn't even checked Amazon because cheap plastic crap is usually cheapest directly from China, but just ordered a 5-pack for $7 from Amazon (https://a.co/d/a8oJAPK). Crazy.
