One should avoid LastPass like the plague: https://www.tomsguide.com/computi...ed-to-know
Using a bad security product is worse than none at all, because you'll think that something is taken care of when it really isn't.

I had LastPass when that happened and I still use it.
Never had any problems.

But this whole thread will be about how terrible Lastpass is and how great Bitwarden is.

You couldn't PAY me to use this.

Bitwarden is fine. 1Password is the best, but it's also the most expensive for the family plan. It's the only app I pay a subscription for (though I got 50% off for 3 years).

Lastpass is the best password manager there is. It is fast and very easy to use. The interface is second to none. Doesn't constantly asking you to log in every time you open or re-open a browser. It works perfectly with mobile devices.

Only problem is it was hacked to oblivion the last time it happened, and it will happen again because it is widely used everywhere. The hackers have a version of the source code to Lastpass. If you're new to using a password manager, do not pick this one. It is simply not safe. Those of us still using it understand the risks.
