What happens to my current subscription?
So you can start using Microsoft 365 Premium straight away, your subscription will change from Microsoft 365 Family to Microsoft 365 Premium immediately after purchase. Your new renewal date will be Wednesday, February 7, 2029.
Any remaining time on your Microsoft 365 Family subscription will be prorated towards your new Microsoft 365 Premium subscription and may result in less time being added than you currently have remaining. Learn more about how this works.
The changes to the existing subscription are final and non-refundable.

I thought of the 5 year thing too. I always wait until Feb to add the next year (I'm down to my last card). I'll try the monthly thing again, but it gave me the same error last night.

k so here is the updated on the payment side. Its actually $99.99 being charged but NEW expiration date is 03/22/2031. So it gave me about 5 more months, its still $100. But since i had stacked up discounted family M365 plans... this is a no brainer. So $100 for the next 5+ years of copilot for me!! I believe with all the other M365 deals, they will stack on this too, once months start going by. Also using my citi to get 20% back as well. So roughly $80.
