I did the iPhone 13 deal with visible last year. Note that for eSIM you must activate service on the device you bought. They were also a PITA regarding unlock. I activated the phone on their service and then moved the service to another iPhone. The iPhone 13 never unlocked and customer service was not helpful at all. I then used the iPhone 13 another line for 60 days and that apparently didn't count either since it wasn't the line the phone was purchased on. Overall if you want an unlocked phone make sure you use it on the original account for which you purchased it for 60 continuous days after activation.

But be aware since it is a Verizon subsidiary it is just a sim unlock - the bootloader lock (OEM unlock) remains greyed out... had this experience with a pixel 9a I got from visible.

$425 plus taxes, $465 total. Visible indeed includes all taxes/fees. Service is better too. P10Pro is not much of an upgrade from the standard P10. Too late for me to return but I think this is a better deal.

I am using my first pixel. I'd say they are very worth it for people who do not need the best. I normally use Samsung but imo they have been going downhill. These pixels basically cost like a third or a half of the flagship apple or androids and do like 92% of the same stuff, I'd say. Basically, a strong budget option, which I would honestly say most people do not actually need or get the full benefit from most premium smartphones unless you are primarily buying for optics

Seriously? I've been using them since the Nexus 4, well before Pixel 1. It's pure Android. First to update new Android, etc. I'm writing this on my Mac, which I much prefer to Windows for the same reason I prefer Android to OS: it's more open and flexible. It's closer to being able to use it they way you want to, not the way the software engineers thought you should use it. You can even install a new launcher if it's not flexible enough for you. iPhone has a faster processor, cameras are similar, Pixel has better photo tools (has for years), iPhone has better video (prob because of the processor), Pixel is dramatically less expensive for a similar phone, data shows people on iPhone spend more on apps (don't know if they have to or choose to), Pixel actually has AI built in while Apple is still exploring the ideas of a plan for AI. Don't listen to just me; Google it.

The 10 Pro is a pretty big upgrade over the 10 in terms of cameras. What it's not is a meaningful upgrade over the 9 Pro.

Pixel phones are only worth buying because of their cameras and only when they're heavily discounted. In every other way, they're mid-range phones with mid-range performance but a flagship MSRP. When they're discounted, what they offer is near-flagship quality photos at mid-range prices and therefore a great value if you care about your phone's camera (which I do).

I guess I also care about the bootloader unlocking so I can run LineageOS, but with Google's latest BS about not releasing device trees for the 10 and onward, I think that might be the nail in the coffin for me for purchasing Pixels. They're just not a very good value proposition, though Google has done a good job marketing them as such.
